Get remote user vpn information on the Pix or ASA
Not like this is new information but its a nice to have. I was troubleshooting a remote user’s vpn connection today when I needed to gather some information to troubleshoot their issues. I used the command sh vpn-sessiondb remote to get the internal and external ip address they received, their client version and the encryption and hashing settings. This information helped me resolve the issue much quicker than having to sort through the running-configuration and logs to gather all the information.
